
Global development
Jago has worked on a range of c-suite and senior executive assignments for global development organisations based in the UK and overseas. Clients have included: trusts and foundations, multilaterals (such as WFP, WHO, International Trade Center), and specialist global development and strategic affairs think tanks, such as Chatham House.
He has particularly strong experience of working with organisations seeking to apply new approaches to global development spend. Most recently, he worked with the CEO of a pioneering, $200m global development fund to appoint a CFO, having previously worked on the appointment of its inaugural Chief Analytics Officer and VP Analytics, who also led their US operation. He has supported a noted hedge fund-backed foundation with a number of programmatic leadership positions in the fields of health and nutrition. And he has worked on global talent-mapping with a Latin-American-based specialist technical assistance consultancy, pioneering new approaches to payment-by-results, systems strengthening etc. with governments in the developing world.
He has experience working with campaigning global NGOs, such as Global Witness, the leading anti-corruption and human rights organisation.
